Scent Culture Institute Japan
A commitment to cultivate new scent culture
Since ancient times, Japan has had an aesthetic sense of “loving” fragrance and “playing” with fragrance, such as Kodo and Takimono-Awase (the art of incense).
Our motto is to rediscover the pure beauty in scents
… to nurture it as a culture, and to enjoy it beyond its realm.
We believe that the activities of each and every one of our members will become the soil for fostering a scent culture in Japan,
just as the origin of the word culture: to cultivate.
